What is UI Clash?

Designs duel. You're the judge.

Purpose

UI Clash is more than just a voting tool — it's a playground for interface ideas. Whether you're a seasoned designer, a developer learning the ropes, or just someone who loves clean, clever UI, this is your space to explore what works and why. Each comparison invites you to sharpen your design eye, weigh trade-offs, and learn through doing. It’s low-stakes, high-value, and surprisingly fun.

Here, feedback isn’t limited to design teams or formal reviews. It’s fast, visual, and open to anyone with an opinion. Whether you're choosing between two button styles or deciding which card layout feels more usable, your vote helps shape what great UI looks like.

How It Works

  • Vote: Look at two versions of the same UI component and choose the one that resonates with you based on usability, visual polish, clarity, or just gut feeling.
  • Earn Points: With each vote, you earn 1 point. It’s a fun way to track your activity and climb the leaderboard as a top contributor.
  • Filter: Want to see just buttons? Modals with a dark theme? You can filter by component type, theme, or visual style to tailor the experience to your interests.
  • Comment: Got a thought? Leave a quick comment explaining your choice, offering suggestions, or starting a conversation. Insightful feedback makes the platform richer for everyone.

Why We Built It

Too often, designers work in silos heads down, unsure if their choices really resonate with real users. UI Clash is our antidote to that.

We believe great design isn’t made in a vacuum. It evolves through feedback, discussion, and iteration. This platform was built to spark those conversations, get eyes on designs earlier, and celebrate the “why” behind every pixel. It’s a chance to stress test ideas, validate patterns, and get out of your bubble — in the most enjoyable way possible.

We also wanted to make UI exploration accessible. You don’t need to be a design lead or UX expert to participate. If you’ve got an opinion, you belong here.

Who It’s For

  • Designers looking for fresh inspiration, fast feedback, and ideas outside their usual echo chamber.
  • Developers who want to build more beautiful and usable interfaces by learning from real design debates.
  • Teams prototyping and testing ideas, curious how different UI choices land with users.
  • Students practicing critique skills, learning what makes an interface work (or not), and building taste through repetition.
  • Anyone with strong opinions about spacing, color contrast, microcopy, or the perfect border-radius.

Thanks for being here Let’s raise the bar on UI — one vote at a time.
